AirDroid Enrollment

Purpose: Enroll into Android Enterprise using AirDroid.

1) Factory reset

  1. Open Settings
  1. Go to System → Reset options
  1. Tap Erase all data (enterprise reset)
  1. Confirm Erase all data

2) Welcome screen

  1. On the welcome screen, tap Start

3) Connect to Wi-Fi

  1. Connect the device to your Wi-Fi network

4) Copy apps & data

  1. When asked to copy apps & data, tap Don’t copy

5) Google Sign-in (Android Enterprise setup)

  1. On Google Sign in screen, tap the Email or phone field
  1. Enter: afw#setup
  1. Tap Next

6) Organization ownership confirmation

  1. On the screen “This device belongs to your organization”
  1. Tap Next

7) Enroll this KC50 (QR code)

  1. On Enroll this KC50 screen
  1. Allow camera permission: tap While using the app
  1. Scan the provided QR code

8) Set up work device

  1. On “Let’s set up your work device”
  1. Tap Accept & continue

9) Privacy information

  1. On “This device isn’t private”
  1. Tap Next

10) Google services

  1. Tap Got it
  1. Tap Accept

11) Select a Home app

  1. Select aReception AirDroid Enrollment 1
  1. Tap Biz Daemon
  1. Tap Always

12) Start Biz Daemon app

  1. Start the Biz Daemon app

13) Information screen

  1. Tap Continue

14) Name the device

  1. On Name the Device screen
  1. Tap Continue

15) Grant permissions

  1. Grant all permissions
  1. Follow the on-screen instructions on the KC50 kiosk

16) Final remote configuration

  1. Contact aReception to finish the setup remotely

Notes

  • If you don’t see the QR enrollment step, double-check that you entered afw#setup correctly.
  • Keep the device connected to a stable Wi-Fi network (or Ethernet, if available) throughout the enrollment process.
